MEET AMY

Amy is a wife, mama to her darling children, Interior Designer and Founder + Owner of The Little Palm®. Originally from Paducah, Kentucky, a charming southern town steeped in historic architecture, she grew up with a love for beautiful art and design.

As the only daughter and granddaughter of two remarkable southern ladies with a penchant for painting, she followed enthusiastically in their footsteps, maintaining a longstanding family tradition.  Both her mother and grandmother are accomplished artists in acrylic, oil and watercolor painting - and most of the cherished materials Amy uses to create original works of art were gifted to her over the years by them. 

After minoring in Studio Art in college, Amy moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a degree in Interior Design. In 2004 she launched her design business, primarily focusing on residential interiors. This is her true passion - helping clients create charming homes that reflect their personal style preferences and warm southern hospitality while enhancing the way they use their rooms.  The hallmarks of our vision and style are decidedly Southern and draw from the rich heritage of gathering in the beautiful homes of her parents, grandparents and aunts + uncles, each with their own taste but all with the common thread of well-appointed interiors that serve as the backdrop for gracious gatherings. We believe that home is where love begins and that our homes are gifts to be stewarded well for the Lord's glory.

Our company is composed of three distinct yet complimentary services: Interior Design, Original Art, and Celebrations + Gifts.  These parts are seamlessly connected and allow us to provide a full range of services for each client.
